Job Title: Kids Club Attendant
Reports to: Reception Manager
As a Kids Club Attendant at The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, memorable, and joyful experience for our youngest guests. With care at the heart of what you do, you will ensure that children are well-supervised, engaged in fun and educational activities, and supported with energy and enthusiasm. Key Responsibilities:
Child Supervision
Always create a caring and secure environment for children. Monitor play and interactions attentively, ensuring their physical and emotional safety.
Activity Planning
Design and lead a variety of age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and interactive activities that are both entertaining and enriching. Show energy and creativity in delivering dynamic experiences.
Entertainment & Engagement
Inspire joy by actively participating in play, encouraging inclusion, and fostering positive group interactions. Bring enthusiasm and drive to every activity.
Communication
Build trust by communicating clearly with parents or guardians, gathering essential information about each child’s needs, preferences, or concerns.
Record Keeping
Maintain accurate records of attendance and any notable interactions or incidents, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Support & Guidance
Assist and motivate children throughout the activities, offering support with patience and kindness. Encourage participation while promoting teamwork and respect.
Cleanliness & Safety
Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety by keeping the Kids Club area organized, sanitized, and hazard-free. Follow health protocols diligently.
Conflict Resolution
Manage conflicts calmly and fairly, modelling positive behaviour and resolving issues with empathy and integrity.
Emergency Preparedness
Be ready to respond to emergencies in accordance with hotel procedures. Provide basic first aid if required and communicate promptly with guardians and management.
Professionalism & Collaboration
Represent the hotel with warmth and professionalism. Work collaboratively with colleagues, embodying a team spirit that reflects our values.
