Middle School Girls Physical Education & Health Teacher (Part-Time)

Brave Christian Middle School is seeking a passionate, experienced Girls Physical Education & Health Teacher to serve 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in a part-time capacity.
The ideal candidate has a genuine love for middle school girls, strong instructional and classroom management skills, and a heart to lead students in developing lifelong habits in health, fitness, confidence, and teamwork. This teacher will create a positive and encouraging environment where girls feel supported as they grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually—understanding the importance of caring for their bodies and honoring God in all they do.
Teach Girls Middle School PE and Health classes for grades 6–8
Plan and implement engaging lessons that develop physical fitness, teamwork, sports skills, and healthy habits
Create a positive, encouraging, and disciplined learning environment
Teach age-appropriate health lessons from a Biblical worldview (topics may include nutrition, wellness, hygiene, emotional health, boundaries, digital citizenship, etc.)
Support school events such as field days, fitness assessments, and student activities
Monitor student progress, track participation, and communicate with families as needed
Collaborate with middle school staff and administration to ensure students are supported emotionally, academically, and spiritually
Serve as a Christ-like mentor and role model for students
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Health Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
Prior teaching or coaching experience (preferred)
Strong classroom management and organization skills
Ability to teach PE skills, rules of games, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fitness routines
Ability to integrate Biblical principles into lessons and classroom culture
Passion for working with middle school students and building meaningful relationships
Ability to work well in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
A committed follower of Christ and active member of a local church
Demonstrates spiritual maturity and alignment with the mission of Brave Christian Schools
Serves as a positive Christian role model in speech, conduct, and attitude
Displays humility, teachability, and a heart for ministry
