Registrar in Paediatrics

Our clients is seeking a motivated and suitably qualified Paediatric Registrar to join their multidisciplinary paediatric team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents across inpatient, outpatient, neonatal, and emergency settings under consultant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients.

• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call rotas.

• Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

• Contribute to teaching, audit, quality improvement, and research activities.

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and professional standards.

Essential Requirements

• Active registration with the Irish Medical Council.

• Relevant postgraduate experience in Paediatrics.

• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Membership examinations (e.g., MRCPCH) or equivalent.

• Neonatal and acute paediatric experience.

• Evidence of audit, research, or teaching activities.
